Dr Srinivasan Krishnaswami has about 32 years of industrial experience in chemical technologies such as rubber chemicals, resins for coatings, coatings formulations, novel surface active agents for varied applications and engineering plastics. In recent years he has been active in various aspects of intellectual property generation, particularly for chemical technologies. He did his M.Sc. (Chemistry) at IIT, Chennai and PhD. (Organic chemistry) at Vanderbilt University, USA. Prior to becoming a consultant, he was a scientist and a technology manager at ICI India Ltd., a Staff scientist at GE India Technology Centre, Bangalore and a Chief Scientist at SABIC Research and Technology Pvt Ltd at Bangalore. He is currently an independent consultant in chemical technologies, intellectual property creation, patent analytics, IP due diligence studies and development of innovation ecosystems. Srini manages both Mentoring and IP training program for pHNiNE.
Dr. Prabakaran Reguna Sukumar, worked as Associate Investigator at E.I.DuPont Pvt Ltd, in its Performance Polymers-Legal Division since 2009 July to 2019 June. During his tenure, he directly worked with Dr. David Mesaros, the Global IP leader, Engineering Polymers Division, at Wilmington, Delaware. Further, Dr. Prabakaran had effectively learnt to use Polymer Indexing Codes, Manual Codes, Patent Assignee Codes, IPC, F-Terms, ECLA, Keywords Searches [in English, French and German Languages] and Macro code writings during his service at DuPont. Moreover, Dr. Prabakaran was directly trained by Dr. David Mesaros for 6 years to make him to understand about the Engineering Polymer Technology, Engineering Polymer searches and competitive intelligence.
Received his PhD from Max-Planck Institute for Polymer Research, Germany under the guidance of Prof. Klaus Muellen on Proton Conducting Membranes For Fuel Cell Applications. After his PhD, he worked as Intellectual Property Analyst at GE, Bangalore before joining at DuPont in 2009.
Bidisha has a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Her doctoral thesis was focused on the asymmetric construction of carbon-carbon bonds using organo-catalytic concepts. She is an experienced organic chemist with a strong synthetic chemistry background and have four publications in international peer-reviewed journals. In addition to her technical background in organic chemistry, She has completed courses on Intellectual Property Law (LinkedIn Learning and WIPO)
Swati holds a Bachelor Degree in Biotechnology from Punjab Technical University and Post Graduate Diploma in IPR. Additionally she has attended various workshops, scientific deliberations and symposiums on Biotechnology Research and Development. She has expertise in Novelty, Invalidity, Freedom-to-Operate, Landscape Analysis, Technology Evaluation, State of the art Search, Claim Chart Mapping, File Wrapper Analysis in Life Science domains.
She has experience of handling hundreds of projects over past six years in her field. Swati is in charge of pHNiNE analytical wings for Bio-sciences.
