Dr. Tarakranjan Gupta serves as the Additional Director and Operational Head of pHNiNE, bringing over 20 years of multidisciplinary experience spanning water technologies, membrane separation science, product innovation, intellectual property strategy, and global patent management.
He holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur in Polymer Chemistry and Membrane Separation Science and has built an extensive career leading research, innovation, and technology development programs across academia and industry. His technical expertise encompasses water treatment technologies, membrane processes, dialysis water systems, process development, and advanced material applications.
At pHNiNE, Dr. Gupta is responsible for driving strategic operations, client engagement, intellectual property services, and technology-led business growth. He works closely with startups, SMEs, research institutions, and global enterprises to develop robust IP strategies aligned with their business objectives.
